My sister marriage essay

We bought expensive clothes to wear. She knew that, whenever I felt sad, I would go and hide under her bed and that is why she came straight to that place. Even this just made me sad but, the worst was still to come and I did not know about it.

The whole day I thoroughly enjoyed, sometimes sitting with my sister dressed as a bride, sometimes bringing eats for her and at other times simply admiring the decorations all around. I can never forget that day. In the midst of all this enjoyment little did I realise that, after all this fun was over, my sister would go away for ever, and it would never again be the same.

Would a husband encourage me in this walk, or would he be jealous? I am going to cherish this gift for the rest of my life. My sister being ten years senior to me fondled me like her son and not just her brother. As soon as I heard this, I burst into tears and instead of going to my sister; I rushed to her bedroom and hid myself under her bed.

We would all get lovely food, sweets, friends and decorations and new clothes. Yet, even as I did so, the enemy attacked, and unwanted thoughts leaped into my mind. After the rituals and puja was over, we all slept for sometime and, when we got up in the morning, I was in for the surprise of it all.

For me the marriage ended at that point of time. I had no work, no responsibility, and only eating and enjoying the company of other children like me. But if we can break past these obstacles, the sky is the limit for possibilities!

I hardly remember what happened after that. Life would never be the same again. I only prayed then and there that God keep my sister happy always in her new home with her husband and other members of her new family.
